OPAL M. TROTTIER of Kokomo, Ind., 100, prominent layperson of the former North Indiana Conference and one of the founders of the Kokomo Rescue Mission in Kokomo, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2014. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Ellers Mortuary Webster Street chapel, 3400 South Webster Street in Kokomo. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday Aug. 15 at the Zion United Methodist Church, 5051 E. 400 N. in Kokomo with Pastor Kevin Miller officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden. Memorials can be given to the Zion United Methodist Church in Kokomo and the Kokomo Rescue Mission.
