MARJORIE R. WHITE of Portage, 82, mother-in-law of Rev. Bob Raschka serving at Salem Chapel (La Porte) and New Carlisle Maple Grove, died Sunday, August 3, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at the White Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 921 W. 45th Ave., Griffith, Ind., with Pastor Ron Richmond officiating. Survivors include: son Robert Paul (Mary) White of Griffith; daughters Ruth (Rev. Robert) Raschka of La Porte and Catherine "Buttons" (James) Gordon of Valparaiso; eleven grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
