PHYLLIS J. HEIMAN of Seymour, Ind., 77, mother of Rev. Douglas Heiman, an Elder serving Blue Grass UMC in Evansville, died Thursday, June 5, 2014. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at Voss Chapel, 316 N. Chestnut Street in Seymour. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 9, at Seymour First Church of the Nazarene, 311 Myers Street in Seymour with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Revs. Steve Greene and Doug Heiman will officiate. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. Survivors include children: Doug (Jody) Heiman, Scott (Rhonda) Heiman; step-children: Guy Allen (Teresa) Robbins, Donald E. (Bea) Robbins II, Rebekah J. (Terry) Rodgers; four grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
