IRA W. SHAW, 97, retired Local Pastor of the Indiana Conference, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 16, at the Garr Funeral Home, 7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Ind. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at the funeral home with visitation two hours prior to the service. Survivors include: son, Richard G. (Dottie) Shaw, Floyds Knobs, Ind.; daughter, Nancy Geary, Pleasure Ridge, Ky.; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Shaw served Indiana churches at: Canton, Blotcher, Clermont, Kingman/Bloomingdale, Fredericksburg, English, Lanesville, Borden, Scottsburg, New Bethel, New Amsterdam and Pekin/Emmanuel before retiring in 1982.
