WAYNE ROBERTS of Terre Haute, Ind., 87, father of the Rev. Mike Roberts, pastor of Palmyra UMC in the South District, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18 at the DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive in Terre Haute. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 at the DeBaun Springhill Chapel, with Pastors Aaron Wheaton and Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with military honors by VFW Post # 972. Survivors include sons, the Rev. Wayne Michael “Mike” (Angela) Roberts, Wendell Jackson “Jack” (Tammy) Roberts, and Warren Lee (April) Roberts; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
