RICHARD L. LANCASTER of Indianapolis, 91, a retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013. A private memorial service will be held next summer in Deer Isle, Maine. Survivors include his brother, Paul in Alexandria, Va.; three children, David in Seattle, Peter in Minneapolis and Ann in Boston; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by Harriet Schroeder Lancaster, his wife for 50 years, who died in 2000. He served churches in Indiana at Stidham, Plainfield, Hammond Woodmar and Indianapolis Meridian Street, where he served for 26 years. He retired in 1988.
