G. DALE COTTOM of Evansville, 97, retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Oct. 20, 2013. A memorial service was held Oct. 27 in Terre Haute, Ind. Survivors include son David (Jackie) L. Cottom; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He served as pastor at Farmer’s Chapel, Fontanet, Fort Harrison, Oak Hill and West Terre Haute United Methodist Churches.
