Harden, Oval Brenton ‘Brent’

OVAL BRENTON “BRENT” HARDEN of Logansport formerly of Center Point, 84, a retired Associate Member of the Indiana Conference died Saturday, August 10, 2013. He was the father of Pastor Colleen Harden serving West Terre Haute Emmanuel and father-in-law of Rev. Tim McKaig serving in extension ministry at Shiloh United Church of Christ in Logansport. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Avenue in Brazil. The memorial service will be Wednesday, August 14, at 10:30 a.m. at the Union United Methodist Church, 780 E. 600 N. in Brazil with visitation one hour before the service. The Revs. Andrew Charnstrom and Judi Purvis will officiate. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Survivors include wife Ann Carol Harden; children Joetta (Clarence) Warthan of Frankfort, Ind., Myron (Diana) Harden of New Palestine, Ind., Paul (Rita) Harden of Center Point, Colleen Harden of West Terre Haute and Annetta (Tim) McKaig of Logansport; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made in Rev. Harden’s memory to the Union United Methodist Church or to the Gideon International Bible Society.
