ELMER ALLEN, 91, husband of a retired local pastor Barbara Allen, died Friday, August 9, 2013. He was the father-in-law of the Pastor B.J. Siefert serving Parr United Methodist Church in Kokomo and the grandfather of the Rev. Stacee Gehring serving Bloomington First United Methodist Church. A memorial service was held August 13 in Sullivan. Survivors include wife, Barbara; son Robert W. Allen; daughter, Pennye (B.J.) Siefert; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
