JOHN T. ASHTON of Corydon, 94, father-in-law of the Rev. Mike Monahan serving Old North United Methodist Church in Evansville, died Thursday, August 8, 2013. A memorial service was held August 11 in Corydon. Survivors include son, John (Vickey) Ashton of Corydon.; daughter Ann (Mike) Monahan of Evansville; and six grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
