LETAH SARAH SIMPSON of Frankfort, Ind., 97, widow of the late Rev. William James Simpson, a clergy member of the Indiana Conference, died Thursday, July 11, 2013. A memorial service was held Saturday, July 13 in the Amanda Reid Memorial Chapel at Wesley Manor in Frankfort with Pastors Jake Fisher and Barbara Kinsler officiating. Burial followed at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort. She served in pastorates with her husband in Marion, Galveston, Tipton, Rochester, Anderson, South Bend and Santa Fe. Survivors include one son, Roy (Linda) Simpson; two daughters, Marleta (Larry) Newberg and Linda (Harry) Jones; nine grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild born Wednesday, July 10.
