HELEN M. BROWN of Geneseo, Ill., 88, mother of Pastor Steve Brown of Chandler UMC and Albright UMC in Evansville (Southwest District), died Wednesday, May 29, 2013. A graveside memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. EDT, 9:30 a.m. CDT, Monday, June 3 at Taswell Cemetery in Taswell, Ind. with Pastor Steve Brown officiating. (Those attending the graveside service are welcome to bring lawn chairs for seating during the memorial service.) Survivors include: her son, Steve (Betty) Brown of Newburgh; two grandchildren, Chris Brown (Nancy) of Burlington, Iowa and Tammy (Mike) Schmidt of Brownsburg; and five great grandchildren.
