MARJORIE A. BLAKE of Warren, Ind., 81, wife of the Rev. Floyd Everett Blake, retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Friday, April 12, 2013. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 16 at the Heritage Pointe Applegate Chapel, 801 Huntington Avenue in Warren, Ind. A service to celebrate Marjorie”s life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the same place with the Rev. Dr. Dale Mendenhall officiating and the Rev. Dr. Herbert Buwalda assisting. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery in Eaton. Marjorie had formerly lived in Muncie, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis and Etna Green. Survivors include husband, the Rev. Dr. Floyd Blake of Warren; sons, Chuck (Vicki) Blake of West Lafayette, Harold (Jennifer) Blake of Brownsburg; daughters, Lori (Jeff) Carpenter of Roscoe, Ill., Lisa (Curt) Holmes of Union, Minn.; grandchildren, Marcus (George) Blake of Riverview, Fla., Jon Blake of Brownsburg, Tricia Holmes of Indianapolis, Julie (Cru) Baxter of Clarksville, Tenn., Michelle Holmes of Fishers, Brian Carpenter of Chicago, Ill., Amber Blake of Mooresville and Allyson Holmes of Indianapolis. Memorial contributions can be made to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 4700 Vance Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46815. Condolences can be sent to the Rev.
