LARRY MAURICE CURTIS of Yorktown, Ind., 74, retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at College Avenue United Methodist Church, 1968 W. Main Street in downtown Muncie. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Curtis. He was ordained an Elder in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference and transferred to the Indiana Conference in 1966. He served Indiana churches as an associate at Broadway in Indianapolis, and as pastor at Greenfield Bradley, Southport, Evansville Methodist Temple, Columbus First, Superintendent of the former Indianapolis West District and senior pastor of Richmond Central before retiring in 2001.
