NAOMI E. WINTER of Goshen, Ind., 96, widow of the late Rev. Chester Winter, deceased clergy member of the Indiana Conference, died Jan. 29, 2012. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main Street in Goshen. Friends also may visit from 10 a.m. until the 1:30 p.m. memorial service to be held Saturday, Feb. 2, at Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, 5377 E. Washington Street in Indianapolis. The Rev. David Herr of Calvary United Methodist Church will officiate. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East in Indianapolis. Survivors include her children, Jane (John) Modesitt of Syracuse and James (Sandra) Winter of Monticello; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
