HAROLD E. FRAVEL of Corydon, 91, stepfather of the Rev. John Windell, retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013. A memorial service was held Jan. 30 in Corydon, with burial at Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Ellen Rhodes Windell Fravel; his son, Lewis H. Fravel of Corydon; his daughter, Mary Ann Fravel of Corydon; his stepsons, the Rev. John E. Windell (Karen) of Stendal, Ind., Richard A. Windell (Deborah) of Hart, Mich. and Larry F. Windell (Suzanne) of Corydon; his sister, Ruby Amburgey of Sellersburg, Ind.; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Louise Wagner Fravel; his son, James William Fravel; and his brother, Cecil W. Fravel.
