STAN R. BUCK, founding and senior pastor of Sonrise United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne, Ind. since 1987, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, following a battle with brain cancer. A memorial service was held Nov. 24, at The Chapel in Fort Wayne. Aldersgate UMC hosted a dinner at Sonrise UMC following the service. Survivors include: his wife, Kathleen; daughters, Stephanie (Kyle) Thomas of Denver, Colo. and Ashley (Justin) Waterson of Fort Wayne; father, Charles Buck of Portland, Ind.; mother, Lucille Harris of Muncie, Ind.; brothers, Jeff (Debbie) Buck of Fort Wayne and Mark (Kathy) Buck of Indianapolis, Ind.
