JAMES FREDRICK PAYNE of Indianapolis, 84, former Volunteers in Mission Coordinator of the former South Indiana Conference, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at St. Andrew UMC, 2560 Villa Avenue in Indianapolis with visitation one hour before the service. The Rev. Tom True will be officiating. The time of the service will be announced later. Survivors include: wife, Patricia Ann Payne; children, Victor (Kristine Dunn), Vincent, Valerie Smith and Sondra Newman; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
