DAVID CARLYSLE CUMMINGS of Newbern, Ind., 61, retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 12, at the Newbern United Methodist Church, 15786 E. Main Steet in Columbus, Ind. Survivors include: daughter, Krysta Jo Cummings of Decatur Ga.; sister, Susan Cummings of Albuquerque, N.M.; and brother, T. Earl Cummings of Gulf Breeze, Fla. He served Indiana churches at Trafalgar/Mt. Olive (Peoga); Waldron; N. Carolina, Brunswick Circuit; Newbern; Connersville Grace; Acton; Evansville Centenary retiring in 2009.
