BETTY (SCALABRIN) LaFARA of Cloverdale, Ind., 89, mother-in-law of the Rev. Larry Bush, pastor of Amity United Methodist Church in Greenfield, Ind., died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012. A memorial service was held Oct. 20 in Martinsville with burial at Bryant Cemetery. Survivors include: sons, Robert (Cathy) LaFara of Gresham, Ore., David (Becky) LaFara of Paragon, Ind., and John (Janet) LaFara of Edinburg, Texas; daughters, Susan (Edward) Black of Cloverdale, Ind., and Janette (Larry) Bush of Greenfield, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
