ELLEN BRASHARES of Beech Grove, Ind., widow of the late Rev. Wesley Brashares, a deceased clergy member of the Indiana Conference, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012. There will not be a visitation. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Edgewood United Methodist Church, 1820 E. Epler Avenue in Indianapolis. Survivors include brother, W. Scott Westerman, Jr.; five children; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
