MARION SUMNER WELLS of Greenfield, Ind., 85, father of the Rev. Kenneth Dale Wells, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church of Washington, Ind. in the Southwest District, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012. A memorial service was held Sept. 8 in Greenfield. Survivors include: wife, Mary Louise; sons, Randall (Rita) Wells, Greenfield, Kenneth (Dee) Wells, Washington, Ind. and James Wells, New Albany; daughters, Anita (Alden) Taylor, Indianapolis and Karen (Jeffrey) Kaster, Westford, Mass.; step-daughter, Judith (Larry) Turner, Greenfield; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and eight step-great grandchildren.
