EARNEST “ERNIE” M. HOWARD, JR., retired pastor of the Indiana Conference, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, at the Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home, 1704 Grand Ave., Connersville, Ind. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at Grand Ave. United Methodist Church, 1933 N. Grand Avenue, Connersville, Ind. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Bob Roush will be officiating. Survivors include wife, Sandra; three children, Thomas Nathaniel (Kim) Howard of Pawley Island, S.C., Andrew Shawn (Gretchen) Howard of Chicago, Ill. and Carey Lynne Howard of Cambridge City, Ind.; five grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Howard served Moores Hill/Mt. Sinai, Harmony/Lena, West Terre Haute Emmanuel, Connersville Grand Avenue and Cambridge City. Condolences may be sent to Mrs. Sandra Howard, 115 E.
