ELLIS “RAY” BROOKS, of Jeffersonville, Ind., 72, brother of South District Assistant Lynda Alexander, died Monday, June 4, 2012. Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 7, at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main St., Jeffersonville, Ind. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 8, at the funeral home with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He is survived by his son, Kris Brooks (Sherri) of Lyles, TN; and five siblings, Lowell Brooks, Leavenworth, Ind., Lucille Bell, Champaign, Ill., Mary Johnson, Carol Wellman and Lynda Alexander, all of Corydon, Ind.
