MARY E. McGAWN of South Twin Lake, Howe, Ind., 57, a retired deacon of the Indiana Conference, died Friday, May 18, 2012. She was active in the ministries of the LaGrange First Church of God. Visitation will be held Monday, May 21, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan Street in LaGrange Ind. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 22, at 11 a.m. at the LaGrange First Church of God, 777 N. Detroit Street in LaGrange. A graveside service will be held at Galien Township Cemetery in Galien, Mich. Survivors include: three sisters, Bonnie (Chuck) DeMeyer of New Carlisle, Ind., Kathy (Kenny) Sherry of Granger, Ind., and Donna (Randy) Vermillion of New Carlisle, Ind.; step-mother, Barbara McGawn of New Carlisle, Ind.; eight nieces and nephews; a great-nephew; and five great-nieces.
