JAMES A. LAMB of Kokomo, Ind., 68, a retired local pastor of the Indiana Conference, died Sunday, March 11, 2012. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road in Kokomo. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 700 East Southway Boulevard in Kokomo. Burial in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery will take place at a later date. Survivors include: wife, Linda (Felty) Lamb; sons, Terry (Debbie) Lamb, Sharpsville, and Mike (Jenny) Lamb, Gas City; six grandchildren; his first great-grandchild, expected in April; his mother; and one brother, Steve (Tami) Lamb. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 700 East Southway Boulevard, Kokomo, IN 46902 or the American Cancer Society. He had been an associate pastor at St. Luke’s UMC in Kokomo and had worked for Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home and Cemetery.
