GEORGE AUGUST ST. ANGELO, JR. of Lisle, Ill., 90, a retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Sunday, March 4, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 31 at Wentz Hall, North Central College, 171 E. Chicago Avenue in Naperville, Ill. Survivors include: his wife, Betty Jane (Gibson) St. Angelo of Lisle, daughters Becky (Ken) McCabe of DeKalb, Tina (Steve) Wetzel of Naperville, and son Bill (Conni) St. Angelo of Flower Mound, Texas; grandchildren Jesse (Rachel) McCabe, Michael (fianc”e Summer Hayes) McCabe, Jenny and Joe St. Angelo; and great-grandchildren Miles and Mia McCabe. Wheaton Avenue, Wheaton, IL 60187 or Hope United Church of Christ, 1701 Quincy Avenue, Suite 27, Naperville, IL 60540. He served appointments in several rural Evangelical United Brethren churches in Northern Indiana followed by the New York Street Church in Indianapolis. In 1955, he became chaplain of North Central College in Naperville and later as a director of the Yokesfellow Movement. He retired in 1974.
