GLADYS KEITH of Franklin, Ind., mother of the Rev. James William Keith, Jr., senior pastor of St. Mark’s UMC in Carmel, and wife of the Rev. James W. Keith, Sr., retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 6 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 1300 East Adams Street in Franklin. A Celebration of Christian Life Service will be held at 3 p.m., the same day at the church. The Revs. Andy Kinsey, David V.W. Owen and Bert Kite will officiate. Survivors include: her husband of 66 years, the Rev. Dr. James W. Keith of Franklin; her children, the Rev. J. William Keith, Jr. of Westfield and Dr. Carolyn Keith Burr (David Lewis) of North Coldwell, N.J.; grandchildren, Matthew Burr and Amanda Burr of New York.
