MABEL (PARTON) WILLIAMS of Kokomo, Ind., 87, wife of the Rev. Harold E. Williams, retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the St. Luke”s United Methodist Church, 700 East Southway Boulevard in Kokomo, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday, Feb. 23. A memorial service will be held at the church Thursday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. with the Revs. John Walls and William Kinnan officiating. Survivors include: her husband of almost 70 years, the Rev. Harold E. Williams of Kokomo; two daughters; Rebecca Smith of Mentone, Ind., Joanne (Michael) Berger of Orlando, Fla., six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She worked conscientiously with her husband for more than a half century in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Wisconsin and Indiana. She was gifted in music and loved to play the piano and organ. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Luke”s United Methodist Church, 700 East Southway Boulevard in Kokomo, IN 46902. Condolences may be sent to the Rev.
