MABEL (PARTON) WILLIAMS of Kokomo, Ind., 87, wife of the Rev. Harold E. Williams, retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the St. Luke”s United Methodist Church, 700 East Southway Boulevard in Kokomo, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday, Feb. 23. A memorial service will be held at the church Thursday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. with the Revs. John Walls and William Kinnan officiating. Survivors include: her husband of almost 70 years, the Rev. Harold E. Williams of Kokomo; two daughters; Rebecca Smith of Mentone, Ind., Joanne (Michael) Berger of Orlando, Fla., six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She worked conscientiously with her husband for more than a half century in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Wisconsin and Indiana. She was gifted in music and loved to play the piano and organ.
