CHARLES NOEL PURLEE, DDS of Jeffersonville, Ind., 94, husband of Barbara J. Purlee, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2012. Barbara Purlee is surviving spouse of the late Rev. Richard C. Gillum, deceased clergy member of the Indiana Conference. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18 at Scott Funeral Home”s North Chapel, 2515 Veterans Parkway in Jeffersonville. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 19, at Wall Street United Methodist Church, 240 Wall Street in Jeffersonville. Survivors include: his wife, Barbara Purlee of Clarksville; son, Gary Purlee; daughter-in law, Janet Purlee; and two grandchildren; all of Jeffersonville.
