RAY E. SWENGEL of Seymour, Ind., 85, stepfather of the Rev. Lonny Goen serving the Odon UMC, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2012. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Voss Chapel, 316 N. Chestnut Street in Seymour. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at Reddington Christian Church, 10516 N. U.S. Highway 31 in Seymour, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Reddington Cemetery with military graveside rites. Survivors include: his children, Marcia (Ryan) McCleery and Cindy Swengel; a granddaughter, Elizabeth McCleery; and a great-granddaughter, Jayden Rae Gray.
