CLIFFORD HORRALL BINGHAM of Washington, Ind., 96, who served as a lay member to the former South Indiana Conference and delegate to four General Conferences of the UMC, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2012. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6 at Gill Chapel, 308 East Walnut Street, Washington. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7 at Bethel United Methodist Church South, 3709 S. 50 W. in Washington, Ind., with burial following in Bethel Cemetery, with military graveside rites. Survivors include: one niece, Elizabeth Anne Rice of Detroit, Mich. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Lucile (Bratcher) Bingham, who died Dec. 24, 2010.
