WILLIAM “BILL” RUDOLPH WENDT, JR. of Sun City West, Ariz., 88, father of the Rev. Bonnie Draeger, died Dec. 22, 2011 in Arizona. Draeger is a Deacon of the Indiana Conference serving as executive director of In Marjolein’s Memory, Inc., also known as Friends & Cancer of White Plains, N.Y. Wendt was a member of Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church in Sun City West where he was an active volunteer. A private memorial service was held Saturday, Jan. 15. Survivors include: his wife of 66years, Hazel Friedrich Wendt; daughters the Rev. Bonnie (Wayne) Draeger, Kathy (Gerald) Reinke, and son Gary Wendt (Sue); eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Condolences can be sent to the Rev.
