EDWIN GREYSON HOLLOWELL of New Bern, N.C., 85, father-in-law of the Rev. Steven Conger, pastor of Ridge UMC in Munster, Ind., died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 20 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Garber United Methodist Church, 4201 Country Club Road, New Bern, NC 28562. A memorial service will be held the same day at 3 p.m. at the church. A private family interment will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park. Survivors include: his wife of 65 years, Susie “Sue” Denning Hollowell; daughters, Linda Frost of Crestview Fla., Nancy Conger (Steven) of Munster, Ind., Kathy Morton (Fred) of New Bern; son, Michael Greyson Hollowell of Fuquay Varina N.C.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
