EDMOND O. DODSON, 77, father of the Rev. Shelley Dodson, pastor of Brownsville UMC in the East District, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 in Liberty. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 17 and one hour before memorial services on Friday at Smith & Ogle Funeral Home, 5086 College Corner Pike in Oxford. Masonic service will begin at 10:45 a.m., Friday, Nov. 18 at the funeral home with a memorial service immediately following it with the Rev. Shelley Dodson officiating. Following the service, there will be dinner in the College Corner United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Survivors include: his wife of 54 years, Audrey; daughters, Melodye and Shelley; two granddaughters; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and son, Jeff. Memorial contributions can be made to the Brownsville United Methodist Church, 216 S.
