ELIZABETH GINGERICH, 91, mother-in-law of the Rev. Delbert Stoll, pastor of Shoals UMC in the Southwest District, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, in Jasper. A memorial service was held Thursday, Nov. 3, at Bethel Mennonite Church in Montgomery with burial in the church cemetery. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Catherine and Virgil Wittmer of Elnora; Geneva Armes of Montgomery; Dorothy “Dot” and Delbert Stoll of Loogootee; and Anna Mae and Enis Pottorff of Odon; sons, John Gingerich, Jr., of Cannelburg and Darrell Gingerich of Whiteland; 18 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gingerich, Sr., and two sons, infant Terry Joe Gingerich and David J. Gingerich.
