MIRIAM RUTH (EATON) WADE, 81, of Franklin, Ind., surviving spouse of the late Rev. Donald C. Wade, deceased member of the Indiana Conference, died Sunday, July 3, 2011. Visitation will be Thursday, July 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Flanner and Buchannan Funeral Center ” Broad Ripple, 1305 East Broad Ripple Avenue in Indianapolis. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, July 8 at Bethel United Methodist Church, 5252 West 52nd Street in Indianapolis. She taught developmentally disabled and visually impaired students for 21 years in Central Indiana. Survivors include: her children, Michelle Freeman of Crawfordsville, David Wade (Jenny) of Arcadia, Judith Wade and Carol Wade of Indianapolis; two grandsons, Chris and David Freeman of Ladoga; and six great-grandchildren. Condolences can be sent to her son, David Wade, Conference Lay Member at Emmanuel UMC in Noblesville, at 24830 Ray Parker Road, Arcadia, IN 46030. Donald Wade served Indiana churches in New Richmond, Covington, Lafayette, Indianapolis, Terre Haute, Noblesville and Linton.
