FRED L. HENSCHEN, 76, retired associate clergy member of the Indiana Conference, died Sunday, June 26, 2011. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, July 1 at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 1927 West Kemper Road in Cincinnati, Ohio 45240. A memorial service will be held at the church at noon the same day. Survivors include: children, Debora (Gerald) Lopez, Steven (Betty) Henschen, Cheryl (John) Jester, Philip (Sharon) Henschen, Mike Henschen, and Caroline (Shane) Glasgow; 14 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife the late Jane Henschen. Memorials may be made to the John Wesley United Methodist Church or Scarlet Oaks Retirement Community through the John C. Brater Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine Street, Harrison, OH 45030. Henschen served churches in Indiana at Geneva, Aberdeen, Rockdale, Evansville Asbury-Wesley, Worthington-Allen Chapel, Centerville and Indianapolis West Newton. He retired in 1999.
