NORMA JEAN MARTIN of Franklin, 79, a retired clergy member of the Illinois Great Rivers Conference who also served churches both in Illinois and Indiana, died Saturday, May 7, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24 in the Wright Chapel at the Franklin United Methodist Community, 1070 West Jefferson Street in Franklin, Ind. Survivors include: her husband Ted Martin; children Kathye Reily (Richard), Leslye Cathell, and Norman Staley (Marsha), daughter in law Beverly Staley, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a brother Phillip Strickland (Robbie). A son, John Staley, preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the Camping Scholarships of Grace United Methodist Church, 1300 East Adams Drive Franklin, IN 46131.
