JANE M. CARPENTER of Gaylord, Mich., 90, widow of the late Rev Guy D. Carpenter, a clergy member of the Indiana Conference died Friday, April 22, 2011. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. She and Guy lived in Batesville, Greensburg, Evansville and Franklin, Ind., during his ministry. The family vacationed at Lake Louise (Thumb Lake) since 1946 and moved to Gaylord in 1990. Survivors include: three children, Paul of New York, Ann (John) Mahan of Gaylord, and John of Missouri; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
