Max Elmer Nicoson, 94, a retired clergy member of the Indiana Conference, died March 15, 2011. A celebration of his life service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, at the Ashboro UMC, 850 N. State Road 59 in Centerpoint, Ind. Survivors include: his children Dennis Michael (Lori) Nicoson, Paula Nicoson-Gallion, and Cinda Jo (Eddie) Summa; stepchildren Leon Mack (Peggy) Wessel and Myrna Lou (Mick) Gray; 18 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Condolences can be sent to his wife, Betty Nicoson, 1478 East Ashboro Road, Centerpont, IN 47840. Memorial contributions can be sent to Ashboro United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 96, Center Point, IN 47840. Nicoson served churches in Tunnelton, Clarksville Wesley-Ohio Falls, Mt. Auburn, Brownstown, McCutchanville, Glenn”s Valley and Washington Otterbein before retiring in 1982.
