C. MELVIN BLAKE, 92, retired Elder of the Indiana Conference and brother of the Rev. Floyd E. Blake, also a retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Monday, March 7, 2011 in Travelers Rest, S.C. A memorial service will be held at a later date in South Carolina. Condolences can be sent to his wife, Karen Blake, 7 Pearwood Court, Travelers City, SC 29690, and brother the Rev. Dr. & Mrs. Floyd E. (and Marjorie Alice) Blake, 130 Dogwood Drive, Warren, IN 46792. Melvin served in ministry at Flanders/Calverton, Arena/Union Grove/Pleasant, South Milford, Rhodesia Conference, missionary to Angola, Board of Missions, and Dept. of Psychology of Religion at Boston University School of Theology, retiring in 1983.
