WILLIAM “BILL” F. AHLEMEYER, 86, father of the Rev. Timothy Ahlemeyer, pastor of Mount Vernon UMC and father-in-law of Joy Ahlemeyer, Southwest District Assistant, died March 2, 2011. A memorial service was held March 7 in Columbus, with burial at the Garland Brook Cemetery. Survivors include wife, Helen R. Ahlemeyer; four children, William Bruce (Cindy) Ahlemeyer of Indianapolis, David Odell (Margaret) Ahlemeyer of Tucson, Ariz., Susan Lee (Carl) Ortega of Lansing, Ill., and Timothy Allen (Joy) Ahlemeyer of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorials can be sent to the Sandy Hook United Methodist Church, 1610 Taylor Road, Columbus, IN 47201.
