PATRICIA PAT RYAN ZAPAPA of Indianapolis, 83, mother-in-law of retired Indiana Conference Elder the Rev. E. Carver McGriff and mother of Carvers wife Marianne, died Jan. 13, 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Jan. 17 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with burial at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Survivors include: her husband, James Richard Zapapas; six children, Marianne McGriff (Carver), Patricia Parry (Richard), Gail Rodecker (William), James Richard Zapapas, Jr. (Janice), Carol Zapapas and Julie Zapapas; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Memorial donation may be made to either the Alzheimer’s Association, 50 E. 91st Street, Suite 100 Indianapolis, IN 46240, or to St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
