L. KENNETH “KEN” KRAFT, 91, of Lafayette, retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at Creasy Springs Nursing Home. No services were held. During his ministry, he served as pastor at Hamilton in Ohio, South Whitley, Silver Lake, Gary Centennial and Lafayette Grace. Upon retirement, he established the chaplaincy program at Wabash Valley Hospital, where he served for 17 years. He was pastor at Earl Park Presbyterian Church for eight years. He developed and directed the summer outdoor camping program for Conference and was director of higher education and campus ministry. Survivors include: his wife, Virginia McDoniels Cable Kraft; two sons, Timothy E. Kraft (Jackie) of West Lafayette and Randall L. Kraft (Debra) of Lafayette; and a stepson, Randall R. Cable (Carol) of Colorado; nine grandchildren; two great-grandsons.
