FLORENCE LOUISE (HEMMER) KEMP, 91, widow of the late Rev. Grester Leon Kemp, a clergy member of the Indiana Conference, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011 at Franklin, Ind. She was part of the Franklin United Methodist Community and member of Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 8 at the Franklin UM Community Wright Chapel, 1070 W. Jefferson Street in Franklin. The Revs. John Eley, Ted Murphy and James Keith will officiate. An informal reception will follow the service. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9 at the Holland United Methodist Church Cemetery. Survivors include: three children, Philip L. Kemp (Patti) of Fort Wayne, Ann E. Herron (Bud) of Columbus and James W. Kemp (Joni) of Greenwood, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and by a daughter, Mary Jane Kemp, who died at birth. Memorial contributions can be made to Franklin United Methodist Community, 1070 W.
