L. GEORGE HOSTETTER, retired Elder in the Indiana Conference and father of the Rev. John Hostetter, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church in Rensselaer, Ind. in the Northwest District, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 in Fort Wayne, Ind. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 West Kem Road in Marion, Ind. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Dec. 9 at 11 a.m., at the Fairmount UMC, 301 South Walnut Street in Fairmount, Ind. Survivors include: his wife Sue Davis Hostetter; sons, Dennis Hostetter of Fremont, John Hostetter of Rensselaer and Paul Hostetter of Warsaw. Condolences can be sent to Mrs. Sue Hostetter, 2139 W. During his ministry, George Hostetter served Indiana congregations in Whitestown, Royal Center-White Oak, Southlawn, Yeomen and Fairmount.
