GLENN J. HARNESS, 79, of Fairfield, Ohio, former Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov 20, at the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 700 Jackson Blvd. in Elkhart, Ind. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, at the funeral home, with the Rev. J. Wesley Ummel officiating. Burial will be in Adamsville Cemetery in Adamsville, Mich. Survivors include: his wife Helen; daughter, Marcia Daugherty of Hamilton, Ohio; son, Mark Harness of Fla.; and seven grandchildren. He served from 1951 – 1953 in the U.S. Army. He was pastor and counselor for more than 35 years in the Missionary Church and The United Methodist Church at Losantville-Bluntsville, New Castle, Marion Sunnycrest, Fort Wayne Simpson, Marion Ninth Street and Wabash Lebanon. He also served as Director of Resource Development for International Child Care USA from 1978-1981.
