RUSSELL L. STEVENS, 86, of Clinton Township, Mich., retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Monday, Nov.15, 2010. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. with a memorial service at 3:30 p.m., on Sunday, Dec.12, at the Harold Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main, Mount Clemens, Mich. with the Rev. Donna Minarik of First United Methodist Church in Mount Clemens officiating. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Mich. Survivors include children, Russell L. Stevens of Tellico Plains, Tenn.; Candace Stevens Job of Clinton Township; grandchildren, Melissa Sands, Matthew McCreary, Manda Moore, Lindsay Job, Brandon Hedrick, Erica Hedrick, Jessica Antrim, and Jeanette Stevens; eight great-grandchildren. He retired in 1990 and returned to Michigan to serve at Grosse Pointe and at Davis until 2004.
