WAYNE R. JOHNSON, 88, retired Elder of the Indiana Conference, died Friday, September 17, 2010. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, at the Titus Funeral Home, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw, Indiana, and 1 hour before the service. A memorial service will be held at Claypool United Methodist Church, Wednesday, September 22, at 10 a.m. Pastor Evelyn Taylor Haney will officiate. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, Indiana. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Mary Johnson of Winona Lake; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Jerry and Lois Johnson of Claypool and Stephen Johnson of Fort Wayne; two daughters and sons-in-law: Janet D. and Charles Lentz of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, and Barbara and Michael Wolfe of Mesa, Arizona; 11 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Memorial gifts may be given to the Claypool United Methodist Church, 320 E. Section Street, Claypool, IN 46510.
